At Balangaw.ph, we believe that every queer story deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Our mission is to make LGBTQI narratives, knowledge, and resources accessible to all Filipinos so that everyone can better understand and embrace the diversity of our lived realities.

- COLLABORATE with Filipino advocates, scholars, and leaders in generating data of vital concern to the intersectional issues that affect the LGBTQI community;
- COMMUNICATE knowledge that is both representative and supportive of the queer community through crafting informative content fit for public consumption;
- CINNECT users to local organizations and increase access to their LGBTQI and human rights-related projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
Our Origin
Our Origin
Balangaw.ph is an initiative of Babaylanes, an LGBTQI human rights organization based in Quezon City. Through the EMERGE Project, this platform was created to make queer stories and resources accessible to every Filipino, building bridges of understanding, visibility, and pride across communities.
